The Teich Garden Systems Story

Not long ago, Mark Teich, his wife and their children moved from the big city to the surrounding suburbs. Mark was happy, but his wife missed the city. She thought a vegetable garden would help her get into the suburban spirit. So she asked Mark to create one for her.

Mark knew that his garden would need to keep deer and other animals out because his neighborhood was full of them. He also knew that with work, personal obligations and young children running around, the garden would have to be easy to maintain. He also wanted something the children could enjoy and from which they could learn.

A creative thinker and skilled carpenter, he designed an enclosed garden structure that combined existing concepts in gardening and deer fencing into something new and better. Mark’s garden not only kept animals out, it also assured top quality soil, provided individualized and efficient irrigation, offered plenty of support for crawling and vine crops and generally made gardening easy and fun. It was more than just a garden. It was a “garden system.”

Mark’s garden system was an instant hit with his wife and the children. With this garden, they found that they all had green thumbs. Everything they planted grew phenomenally well! Friends, relatives and neighbors took notice of the garden, too. Several said, “I want one”. Mark realized that the garden system he built for his wife was not simply a good solution for her – it was a good solution for everyone. A friend said, “You should start a business,” and that’s what he decided to do.

In the fall of 2005, Mark formed Teich Garden Systems LLC to market the product to customers. Mark has assembled a team of highly talented and dedicated individuals to assist in launching the company. Each of them believes that Teich Garden Systems offer schools, civic groups and homeowners a gardening solution unlike anything that has existed in the past and is committed to bringing this product to you. We look forward to serving you!
