Formed in 2005 by South Salem, NY entrepreneur Mark Teich, the company builds fully sustainable gardens to give both novice and experienced gardeners the opportunity to garden easily, quickly and efficiently. The enclosed garden structures that TGS build and maintain support owners in growing bountiful harvests while keeping deer, rabbits and other garden destroying animals out. Each garden is designed to fit the individual needs of the owner with full irrigation systems, top quality organic soil, customizable options for raised flower beds and support for trellising vines.

In addition to building residential gardens for private homeowners in the Northeastern states, Teich Garden Systems works with school officials to design and install creative and child friendly garden systems that act as outdoor learning environments to promote science, sustainable agriculture, math and dietary education. The first school garden that the company built for a South Salem, NY elementary school won an award in 2006 in a competition sponsored by the Rodale Institute, a national promoter of school gardens.

An innovative approach to gardening, Teich Gardening Systems has recently formed a sister company, Teich Nursery Supply, which provides wholesale nurseries, retail customers and the food service industry with the highest quality organic vegetable seedlings and culinary herbs grown.
