Having recently moved to the suburbs, Mark Teich's wife asked if he would help her create a vegetable garden in the hope that it would help her get into the spirit of their new surroundings. After giving it some thought and after assessing their new environment, Mark realized that this garden would have to include a few features in order to be successful. It would have to be able to keep out numerous indigenous animals, be easy access and to maintain and his children should be able to use it and learn from it. In short, a garden the entire family could enjoy.

So, he set about to design a garden that incorporated the latest techniques in gardening. A garden that included animal-proof fencing, top-quality organic soil, efficient irrigation and support for growing vines. What he came up with was an enclosed garden that improved upon the techniques he drew from. It was fun to garden, easy to maintain and as an added bonus it could easily be customized to fit almost any home. In fact, it was more than just a garden. It was a garden system.

Well, it became an instant hit with his family, friends, and neighbors. Mark soon realized that his garden system was not only a good solution for his family, it was a good solution for everyone. He filed a patent application in the fall of 2005 for the Teich Garden System, and soon after, Teich Garden Systems LLC was formed. Mark's team of highly talented individuals believes that Teich Garden Systems offers the homeowner a gardening solution that is unlike anything that has existed before.
